Crown prosecutors in Quebec are unionized and don’t like their working conditions, apparently. They’re contemplating a strike.
It has nothing to do with principle or clients, of course. If Texas lawyers strike on Wednesday, one day only, as they should, that would be a different thing entirely.
I think it would reflect well on the lawyers of Texas, comparatively speaking. And comparatively poorly on prosecutors in Quebec.
That’s now two countries, so far, where lawyers are stupid.
