Tim Pawlenty?

It would make so much sense:  a perfectly dismal choice.  No one could be more uninteresting.  It makes one quiver with excitement over the prospect of Condi Rice – relatively speaking, of course, since she could seem even remotely interesting only by comparison to someone like Pawlenty.

The Romney-Pawlenty ticket would be poised for nothing other than an historic drubbing, almost as if the Republican establishment wants it that way.  Two really terrible candidates.  Clownish, really.
